The Sele...
The Sele is at the centre of Hexham, It is a large public area situated next to
Hexham Abbey.
The
Sele grounds contain an open park area, an original bandstand, a
bowling green, a skate park, a playground for kids and a huge grass
area used for football and other sporting events.
The Sele is also the venue every year for the Hexham Bonfire and Selefest.
The skate park with mini ramp for skateboarding, bmx and roller blades is open for public use and is free to use.
